This is not wine. This is Wyne’ot.

The delightful, wonderful non-alcoholic alternative.

Produced in the UK, it is a perfect blend of the essential flavour notes of twelve different fruits, herbs and spices.

It has all the complexity and intensity of a proper grown-up wine, but without the calories, the hangover and the who’s-driving-tonight? issues.

It’s the non-wine that wine-lovers love.
Wyne’ot. Wyne’ot indeed.
After choosing to give up alcohol in 2019, I spent months scouring various supermarkets, drinks outlets and online distributors for a decent-tasting alcohol-free wine.

I was disappointed. Nothing seemed to truly hit the spot. Everything was either sickly sweet, vinegary... or plain uninspiring.

A good alternative didn’t exist, so I decided I had to create one.
Together with my partner, Mel, we worked on breaking down decent wines into their constituent flavours, tones and notes, and then building them back together but without any fermentation. It was imperative, however, that we kept the heat, the complexities and the layering of wine.

One day, after months of experimentation and taste-testing, Mel and I eventually put our glasses back down on the table, looked up at each other and smiled.

We had just tasted the world’s first Wyne’ot.

The moment was just too mellow and pleasurable to merit a yell of Eureka!, but yes, we knew we’d arrived.
